Out Circular Highway (OCH)
The 29.1 km long highway is to be implemented in 3 sections. The 1st section from Kottawa to Kaduwela of length 11 km was awarded on 24/09.2009. The 8.9 km long section from Kaduwela to Kadawata is to be awarded next year. Funding for both these sections will be from JICA – Japan. The preliminary works of 3rd section from Kadawata to Kerawalapitiya (9.2 km) is in progress.
